That's Way Too Summer

The sultry weather is sickening.Everyone is gluey,as if a glue stick or a fly sticker;head like a soaking Christmas tree, hanging thousands of sweat pearls, dripping off whenever there's a slight movement.Eww.I danced my fingers on the guitar, wishing the melody can ease the dull emotion brought by summer.

Hey Soul Sister,is one of my most-played songs. It's a terrific song by Train, splendid for these steaming summer days.Below is an Ukulele version by two of the youtubers I love,Victor & Cathy, they are just so suuhweet.

And vocal people,love them much.

Reality

Styles of songs always differ with time, but their contents are usually upon a couple of fields, mostly Love.An old Chinese singer,George Lam,who writes and sings loads of love songs, hold concerts at Hong Kong Coliseum these days and I went to one of his shows last night.I seldom go to concerts as the music there are somehow too thunderous for me,but indeed this is what a concert suppose to be.I know no songs by Lam,(except the 'numerical one')and I'm surely not a fan of him.Nevertheless,I'd like to see how his songs induce people.

I admire his enthusiast about music.

He is not a singer who heed packaging alot,in truth,he sings to inspire people to think.George is a 61-year-old man but with no signs of aging,he is gifted to have a huge vital capacity and to sing all-night-long.Although his songs are not the type that I used to listen, the audience there were all engrossed in George's songs. They hummed, swayed the feet and even pretended to be galloping on horses in their seats.Agape, but I'd say it's enjoyment. While those love songs spilled in the air,I saw an old couple in front hugged and whispered.Appealing.

My eyes sparkled when I saw a familiar guy in pink, hopped on to the stage.Eason.

George was like curious in Eason's look.

" It'll be a contemporary look in 2012."Eason giggled.

" I thought you've just woken up,really." George teased.

Close up of Eason's flip-flops.

Hin was there,too.
I checked the pix I captured after the concert and found out most of them are Eason and Hin, but with no signs of Lam.Grin.It's the reality,my focus was utterly not on Lam.
In fact,it's a great experiece.
Thanks.Winnie.
